Each profile is tied to the team's beat; where the team has an active reporter, the coach's profile is updated with press-conference reporting, tactical context and the on-record announcement when the coach is dismissed or replaced. Where the team does not have an active beat, the coach still appears on the roster with a dated note explaining why the page is light. The desk does not pretend to a depth of access it does not have.
